First confirm your public IP and location, then check whether DNS requests are still handled by your original network. The results are explained in plain English instead of leaving you to interpret a string of network terms.
A single check can show where your current traffic exits, but it cannot represent the quality of every connection by itself. For a reliable conclusion, consider the points below together.
Public IP
This is the public address visible to websites. Run the check again after connecting to a VPNYH route. If the exit address changes, browser traffic is leaving through the selected route. You can also check again after switching routes so an old tab does not misrepresent your current status.
Location
The location comes from an IP address database and does not indicate the device’s physical location. Data-center changes, provider updates or IP-block reassignment can cause temporary discrepancies. When you need a service for a specific region, also check the region shown by the target website.
ISP / Network Provider
This identifies the network organization registered to the address range. Common results include broadband providers, cloud providers and data centers. It helps identify the type of exit network, but does not directly prove route speed, stability or content availability.
Proxy Signals
This result only reflects identification data returned by the GeoIP database. A detected signal does not mean the connection is abnormal, and no detected signal is not a privacy guarantee. Databases may differ, so also check the exit location, the target service’s response and DNS status.
DNS Check
How to Check for DNS Leaks
DNS translates domain names into network addresses. If browser traffic uses the selected route while domain lookups are still handled by the original network, the exit location and DNS location may not match. This page only reads GeoIP results and does not fabricate DNS test data.
Record the Result Before Connecting
Refresh this page and note the public IP, location and network provider. Use these results for before-and-after comparison; there is no need to share them with anyone.
Run Another Check After Connecting
Connect to the route you plan to use, then select “Check Again.” Confirm that the public IP and location have switched to the expected route.
Check Your System DNS Settings
Open your device’s network details and review the current DNS configuration. If it still shows a resolver provided by the original network, or its location clearly conflicts with the current exit, check the client’s DNS takeover settings.
Repeat the Check After Switching Routes
If the result is unexpected, disconnect and reconnect first, then test again with another route. If the issue continues, sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket with details of what you observed, without including account credentials.
